When searching for the right Kayaking and Boating Gear online, EMS.com is a site you must paddle online to see!
EMS.com - Kayaking Gear & Accessories Eastern Mountain Sports was founded in 1967 in Wellesley Massachusetts by two rock climbers who had become dissatisfied with the poor selection of climbing equipment they found in existing stores.
Now based in Peterborough, New Hampshire, they increased from selling climbing gear, by adding a selection of camping equipment including an extensive line of kayaking gear, and accessories. EMS has grown into one of the nation's leading outdoor specialty retailers, with more than 80 retail stores, as well as a solid presence online.
Their kayaking line includes a variety of aluminum and all-carbon paddles, a wide range of paddling clothing, and accessories from car racks, dry bags, life vests, and safety & repair items. All this product is backed up with quality assurance, customer care, and prices are very competitive online.
EMS.com carries many of the top named brand items, such as North Face®, Mountain Hardwear®, Teva®, Gregory®, Merrell®, Sierra Design®, Eagle Creek®, Kelty®, and many others, which are covered by their extensive guarantee policies.
When visiting Eastern Mountain Sports site, I found it to be easy to browse, and even though the site had many graphics on it, there were no annoying flashy pop-ups, that I normally do not like! They hold true to giving the online customers a pleasurable experience, and they offer a simple way to find everything you're looking for in kayaking gear, and accessories. One thing I did notice though, was the fact that when you used their "search box" in the top right corner, you had to type in exactly the right phrase. I didn't have to do this with many of the other online stores, they seemed to be a little less sophisticated in the searching area.
For example: If you were to type in "kayak clothing", no results would come back. I then typed in "paddling clothing", and that is when the correct items popped up on the screen.
This was a minor annoyance for me, and in the end I was happy with the final results. No site is perfect, and this may be the reason why they can continually provide quality high-end products at affordable prices. Highlighted Features that EMS.com Offers:

- Straight Forward Guarantee Policy: EMS doesn't believe in the statement: "Who says there are no guarantees in life? Not us!" They offer a guarantee policy that is extremely straightforward! Your complete satisfaction with an EMS purchase is their first priority, but if you are dissatisfied for any reason, they will exchange, repair, or offer a cash refund with a valid receipt for the item you have issues with.
